There’s nothing quite like seeing kids light up when they find their rhythm. In my Kids & Families Drumming Sessions, we play, explore, and create joyful music together in a space that’s full of movement, laughter, and connection.
‍

I bring drums and percussion instruments from around the world, and we keep things fun, simple, and interactive—so even the littlest hands can join in. These sessions are all about building confidence, listening to one another, and sharing joy. You don’t need to be musical—just bring your curiosity and your willingness to play.

For groups that want to dive deeper, I also offer hands-on instrument crafting activities where kids can build their own egg shakers, maracas, scraper-tapper-shakers (3-in-1 percussion makers), and rainsticks. These activities are a great way to encourage creativity, make the experience even more personal, and give kids something they can take home and keep playing with.

Every program is tailored to fit your needs—from one-time 15-minute drum circles to multi-week class series, or even artist-in-residency programs. Whether you're looking for a quick burst of rhythm or an in-depth creative experience, we’ll find the right fit for your group.

What is a drum circle, exactly?

A drum circle is a shared rhythmic experience where people come together to connect through music. No musical experience is needed—just an open heart and a willingness to have fun.

Do I need to bring my own drum or instrument?

Nope! I bring a colorful collection of drums and percussion instruments for everyone to use. Just bring yourself and a little curiosity.

Is this suitable for beginners?

Absolutely. My circles are welcoming to all levels—whether you've never touched a drum or have been playing for years. The experience is about connection, not perfection.

Can kids participate?

Yes! I love working with children and families. I offer specific drum circle experiences designed just for kids and parents to enjoy together.

How long is a typical drum circle session?

Most sessions run about 45 to 60 minutes, but it can vary depending on the event or group needs.

Where do the drum circles take place?

I host events around the Corvallis, Oregon area and can also travel for private bookings. Some events are indoors, others outdoors—each one is unique!

How far in advance should I book?

For private events, I recommend reaching out at least 2–3 weeks in advance. But don’t hesitate to check in sooner—there’s always a chance I have a spot open.

How much does it cost?

Rates depend on the type and size of your event. Once I know a bit more about what you're looking for, I’ll share pricing options that fit your needs and budget.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Life happens! I ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. For private events with deposits, cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a fee.
